Review Content: I installed the security suite today and did a full system scan. Nothing major found. Switched off. Later on I switched the PC on and as soon as I entered my userid and password, Win XP logged me out again! I tried everything, including safe mode, logging in as Administrator, restoring to previous point. Nothing worked. As soon as I logged in, I was logged out. I was locked out of my own PC. Solution? Re-install Windows XP from scratch. Thanks for nothing Kaspersky!

Review Content: I had Kaspersky internet security 2007 & because of it's simplicity of use, installation, & reliability I decided to get the 2009 version. There were no surprises as I expected, the 2009 version is equally as reliable & easy to use with a few extra tricks up its sleeve. As usual, Amazon delivered well before the estimated date. In all this software is great value for money for what it does.

Review Content: I have used Norton Security in the past and have found it slow clunky and tedious to use.I cant understand why some people have problems installing/running Kaspersky?
Yes... I have found it difficult to configure but its not the sort of thing an average user needs to do so let it take care of its self (and your PC).It seems happy to sit in my task bar updating and asking simple QA from time to time, etc.It could be some people don't properly uninstall previous security software? I use a registry cleaner after uninstalling any software to help avoid conflicts and this is especially important before the install of security software!

Review Content: I have managed to load this okay.
I had a little stumbling block when it wanted to 'learn what emails are spam'. It was taking ages and I do not need this service as I use Yahoo Mail, but when I tried to skip over this it locked up. I had to close down the installation and start again but the same thing happened.
This could have been a problem on my side, as my machine then talked about Windows Mail running when it wasn't.
I resolved this by forcing Windows Mail to stop in the tasks manager.
Kasperspy is now loaded and looks pretty good. It has a nice user friendly menu which lets me see exactly what's going on.
This software seems good value for money if it works. I was put off from renewing my Norton software after I read on this site that they automatically use your card details in the future to renew again without asking. Shopping around rather than renewing with your existing software opens up a whole load of better deals (Norton renewal was £39.99 but even buying that same product as a new customer was cheaper!!).
I can't comment on the technical side of Kasperspy because I don't know enough about how this type of software works. But given that independent souces are saying that its good then I reckon I've made a good purchase.
