Review Content: This iPod looked dodgy ever since it came out. It looks more or less a miniature version of the ipod classic. It's just £50 than a classic. This only store 4 GB (some 8GB) while classic store 80 GB and it has no extra features whatsoever. Finally the 4th generation is out and that can do things the classic can't so don't buy this.

Review Content: Unlike cars where you know about the new model for months before, in this sector that is not always the case. Gutted to have bought one of these three weeks ago for the new model to be introduced this week. Hats off to Amazon for the 'new version' alert the opposite for sellers still trying to shift old models at origional prices.

Review Content: The iPod has a stylish compact layout. Screen has a high resolution. has functions including time, alarm, calendar, games. Can store about 1000 songs, which can be sorted by album, artist, top 25 played etc. Obviously, fewer videos. The software and libraries are quite difficult to get in grips with, I spent some time fiddling with it before getting used to it.

Review Content: I love my nano ipod. I have downloaded films from the public domain and video clips from holidays. It is great to be able to show friend photographs and video clips from the ipod. Normally they would have to see videos on a TV screen or bring along a photo album.

Although the technical support could have been better from Apple. I had to phone about 10 times. They asked me to return the ipod as it was not working correctly. They returned it and said there was nothing wrong. After phoning another few times, I took it in person to an Apple store, who sent it to be completely replaced. Then the new one worked no problems. It was hard work at the begining because Apple technical support just seemed to have me going around in circles. However it was worth it in the end.

A word of advice -get all the technical problems sorted out in the first three months, as that is when the free support runs out !

Review Content: Probably a perfectly good piece of kit in itself, but I bought this for my son's 11th birthday, and trying to download the "itunes" update necessary to run it has taken nine hours of toil, reduced me to a blaspheming, sobbing hulk in front of my boy and thoroughly taken the gloss off his day(and mine - big-style). It took a google search for forums on which other people were dicussing the same problem(many sorely aggrieved folk out there!), an adventure into ms-dos programming and many, many attempts to get the wretched thing going at last, and I now wish all the ill luck in the world to both Apple and Microsoft for their petty, spiteful squabbling and lack of communication, and their attitude that it's acceptable to take it out on their customers.
