Review Content: I always read reviews prior to buying so thought it about time I wrote one of my own. I have to admit that i have not been a great beleiver in buying the more expensive things in life thinking that lesser money doesn't always mean lesser quality. In this instance I am glad I paid the extra money for a quality item, granted I bought the 50l touch whilst on offer for £45 but having compared the bin to other makes, I was going to buy one from Argos for £24.95, but on viewing the " Chrome effect", I opted for the excellent Brabantia.

I feel I must also give a big thumbs up to Amazon, the first bin arrived with a big dent, I rang customer services who sent me a shiny new one within 24 hrs and then gave me 30 days to have the damaged one sent back via DHL, at their cost.

Review Summary: Good bin shame about the bin liners
 
Review Content: The bin looks lovely but was really disappointed that I could not buy the bin liners to go with it! The company that suplies these bin liners does not deliver to Northern Ireland. According to them we are an international country and will not post them. The last time I checked we were part of the United Kingdom. I have just found out that a kitchen shop in Junction One sells them and a bit cheaper.50L Pedal Bin liners

Review Content: This is touch bin version 2! They have changed the locking mechanism so it's easier to clean, and now you get side ears and a base that I don't have on my old one that's now two years old.

Perfect product, incredible service from Amazon. Recommended.

Review Summary: I can't beleive I am writing a rave review about a BIN!
 
Review Content: I brought my brabantia touch top bin about 8 years ago, recently the catch broke (after 8 long years of being stuffed full to the brim and crushed down with the lid etc etc) I thought fair enough, it was expensive but Ive had my moneys worth, however before I binned the bin I thought I would see if I could obtain a new lid from brabantia, obviously I did not still have the receipt, but I emailed them asking them to send me the costing for a new lid & hinge, I heard nothing for a week, then today a parcel from Brabantia arrived with a brand new lid assembly, for free!!! As a new bin would have cost me £69.99 at least, this must represent approx £40 worth of kit. Well done Brabantia, that is what you call customer service. Buy this bin, it will outlast you !!!!

Review Content: It's a bit sad, but I love this bin. I've owned it a year and it's the best bin I've ever had. No more low level stress of coping with broken pedals, or holding back swing-tops with the back of one hand while you try to scrape your plate. Just a simple and reliable press-top that even my 18-month child can operate + an opening big enough to make rubbish disposal easy. It also looks quite nice too.
