Review Content: Bought one ten years or so ago and it's faithfully looked after my knives ever since. I admit I was initially disappointed, until realising you're supposed to leave the cover *down* when using it, lol :)
Tempted by the Shinkansen 'Water' Sharpener, but Kitchen Devils couldn't be simpler & quicker to use, + it's reasonably priced too!

Review Content: Got a decent set of knives which I paid a fair bit for a few years ago. They were showing their age but I didnt want to use the sharpener stick so bought one of these on the strength of other amazon reviews.
Spent 10 minutes drawing each of the 5 knives through (of various size). Like a new set of knives for a £6 purchase! If you need to sharpen your knives buy one of these - you wont be disappointed.

Review Content: At last a simple knife sharpener that actually works. It may not be the most sophisticated piece of kit on the market and certainly not the most expensive. I've tried steels and whetstones in the past and been very disappointed. I now have all my Sabatier knives back in business and a pleasure to use again.

Review Content: This only works on Kitchen Devils knives and a limied range of other brands. At the time I bought this (Jan 2008) that was not stated on the packaging. It does not work on any of my knives and was a waste of money.
